Sara Bear

Sara is a library professional whose work centers around learning through creativity and play. She has worked for the University Libraries since she graduated with her M.A.Ed. in 2016. As a graduate student at Virginia Tech, she served as an editor for the higher education publication About Campus and as a volunteer and intern with ICAT. During that time, she began volunteering on the VT Maker Camp staff and now serves as the camp director. She pursues her own learning through play as an avid tabletop gamer and LARPer.
