Kimberly is a leadership educator whose research explores leadership pedagogy, team dynamics, and organizational culture. Her work focuses on how managers build inclusive, collaborative teams and strengthen leadership capacity across sectors. At Virginia Tech, she serves as an Associate Professor of Practice in Management and contributes to interdisciplinary teaching, research, and curriculum development. She previously led university-wide volunteer engagement efforts and has designed and facilitated programs in leadership development, service learning, and applied team learning. Kimberly presents regularly at national and international conferences on leadership education, and her work bridges academic theory with hands-on team and organizational practice.
