Ateba Whitaker

Ateba Whitaker is an educator, social entrepreneur, and advocate for ethical leadership and innovation. With over two decades of experience in social impact entrepreneurship, she has launched initiatives like Shoe Revolt, a national movement addressing human trafficking, and Unreasonable Kids, a nonprofit advancing youth leadership aligned with UN Sustainable Development Goals. Ateba has spearheaded transformative programs such as the Scholars Advance Program and TRUTH STEM Entrepreneurship Club, impacting thousands of students. At Virginia Tech, she empowers students to tackle societal challenges through experiential learning and entrepreneurial ethics, embodying the university’s motto, Ut Prosim (That I May Serve).
