CENI-Floyd Liaison Kim Keith helps win ACSE Funding for “Why CS?” Project

The Advancing Computer Science Education grant will allow Floyd County to develop regional partnerships that will increase teacher understanding of computer science principles, broaden awareness of computer science careers, and support teachers in developing high-quality computer science lessons and resources. 

The Center for Educational Networks and Impacts (CENI), Virginia Tech has established a relationship with CENI through the K-12 liaison program. This relationship will continue to grow with the “Why CS?” project through grant writing and outreach support as well external evaluation provisions.
