Hong Tran
Hong H. Tran is an interdisciplinary educational researcher whose work focuses on advancing effective STEM instruction and fostering lifelong learning skills. Before earning her Ph.D. in Science Education from the University of Georgia, she taught high school science and mathematics for over a decade. Her overarching research goal is to identify and develop approaches that support instructors in implementing effective, student-centered STEM teaching practices that enhance learning outcomes. Her primary research interests include teacher education, self-regulated learning, professional development for instructors, science and engineering practices, and both science and engineering education.
