Ashley Carter

Ashley Carter is the Community and Engagement Recruitment Specialist on the Talent Acquisition team at Virginia Tech’s Department of Human Resources. A proud Virginia Tech graduate, Ashley believes in building strong relationships to bridge workforce gaps. She partners with community organizations and schools to highlight career opportunities at the university and supports recruiting efforts across divisions to create a robust talent pipeline. Dedicated to listening to the needs of educators, students, applicants, and departments, she also provides resume and interview support. Ashley enjoys traveling with her husband and two children, recently completing a five-country tour of Africa.
